ABOUT

Welcome to Ping Atelier! Founded in 2018 in Nanjing, ATIPICOSTUDIOS, and the newly established “Ping Atelier” in Prague. Our focus spans international and domestic art education, handicraft making and design, artistic creation, organizing exhibitions, and hosting art salon lectures ,workshop. We actively engage in cultural exchanges between different countries.

Story

​Pingping Zhao

  •  Bachelor's degree in Modern Ceramic and Glass Art from Nanjing Art Institute.

  • Master's degree in Glass Art and Visual Arts from UMPRUM

Awards:

  • Silver award at the 58th Faenza International Ceramics Competition, Italy (2013).

  • Honorary nomination at the 8th Gwangju International Handicraft Biennale, South Korea (2013).

  • Nomination at the 2nd Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Competition, China (2013).

Noteworthy Experience:

  • Temporary assistant to Coreen Abbott  and Sean Clark in 2013-2014.

  • Joined few glass art exhibition in  Czech (2017).

  • Founded ATIPICOSTUDIOS' first physical studio in Nanjing (2018).

  • Guest teacher for Nanjing Art Institute Glass studio (2017-2018).

  • Curated commercial exhibitions with Coreen Abbott and other international artists (2018).

  • Contributed to "Nanjing Design Week – Satellite Exhibition."​
